Mold Damage – Tampa House
Mold damage occurred at this Tampa home when water leakage from a supply line created the conditions necessary for a mold colony to develop. The extent of the mold damage can be seen in the before photo. We needed to cut out two feet of drywall to properly treat the affected area. Our applied microbial remediation technician followed ASHA and IICRC guidelines to sanitize the mold infested areas with sprays. We set up commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to aid in the drying process. After twenty-four hours our moisture detection equipment indicated that the exposed area had returned to normal moisture levels. We replaced the drywall that had been removed and finished up the job.
