Water Damage – Tampa Home

Water damage to this Tampa home's bedroom soaked through the carpeting and into the semi-porous subfloor. When we were called in to remove the water, it became apparent through testing with moisture detection meters that the subfloor would need to be exposed to properly dry. The carpeting and padding were removed and disposed of to allow the air movers and dehumidifiers t to perform their respective drying tasks. We also had to remove the baseboards to dry the lower portion of the drywall. We were able to dry the baseboards and reuse them when the new carpeting was installed.
